I have had my Wrangler for 12 years. It has no rust on it, runs great, and hasn't hit 100k miles yet. JD

lol

I'm talking about cars that people actually drive. Yeah I could get a Yugo to last 50 years if I stuck it in a garage wrapped in saran wrap.

I call lies on that!

what do you mean by actually drive??

I drive to and from work 5 days a week, do the normal family shopping weekly, visit family members weekly, drive to doctor/dentist/eye doctor appointments, take my pets to their vet appointments, go shopping, go out to eat/to movies and stuff with my husband, sometimes pick my kid up from and take him to places he wants to go...etc

my jeep sits in the driveway and I do not wrap it in saran!

I declare shenanigans. I drive less than that and easily put 10k miles on my car every year.

Yet you still haven't put 100,000 miles on it in 12 years. Despite what you think, you're not driving much. And as much as you like doing your Jeep Wrangler wave, the Honda Pilot is still a much much much better vehicle for what Cutt and Tessa have described.

1. Roomy enough for kids and dog
2. Unmentioned, but would assume with children - want the best crash safety
3. Fuel efficiency

Don't fall into the "resale value" trap, it's a lot of hooey.

Paradise could very well be in BFE. Don't believe me? Try living in the Seattle area a while.

To give you a sense of how much I drive. I bought my Fit a litle over 3 years ago. I have 44774 miles on it.

Don't recall saying I did a lot of driving. I do live in town tho.
Wasn't doing a wave either.
I think the Pilot is just a bleh vehicle.
At least a person can have some FUN in a Wrangler. Dunno if the Pilot is 4 wheel or not/don't care.

I have no complaints on what I have spent for gas in the Jeepster either.
Oh, and I did say it was STAYING in the family...so no hooey here.
I do remember saying I may be getting something other than a Jeep this time too.
