Why the mini van hate?? Why!?! Are you afraid of having too much room huh? Ok fine then get a Ford Fiesta.

BETTER YET GET A SMARTY CAR you can have zero extra room and be extreme distance away from mini van.

Those Smart cars are scary, see them zipping around the Cities here. I'd be afraid of being crushed like a grape in one of those.

Love my Wrangler and it will stay in the family.

I need something easier for my mother to get in and I'm tired of driving her around in her little Chevy. I hate little dinky cars!!

So this time I'm going more for comfort and because I'm old. /sigh

Cutt you need something pretty big because of the family and the pooches.

pk, we had a liberty. in the course of 3 years the alternater broke, the ac broke, the transmission broke, and the rotars warped multiple times.

The liberty is a pos.

Seriously, what's your budget, your primary feature/use you are looking for, and other than the mini van hate, your 'absolute no effing way do I want that feature' to avoid? Once I know all that, I can enter it into my special car picking algorithm program and tell you a perfect match.

I think the basics are.. Under 40ish K, needs to have Sirius/XM, needs to fit dogs and kid, no minivans.

Any MPG requirement? I have a good match already if MPG isn't a concern.

Wow, sorry you had such bad luck. Haven't talked to anyone that has had bad luck with a Liberty around here.

Once a person has 4 wheel drive living in states like you and I do, they don't want anything else. At least I don't anyways.

Will probably go look at more cars this weekend.,

You'll Like This Car If...

you need a vehicle that provides 8-passenger capacity but are dead set against driving a minivan, the 2012 Honda Pilot makes an excellent alternative. Strong, safe and easy to drive, the Pilot SUV can tackle jobs no minivan would dare; and with 4WD, snow days for the kids are a thing of the past.

Your winner. And the MPG is not too shabby. 18 in city, 25 on highway. Priced between 28,000 and 40,000.
