My little girl is turning 30 on Saturday. For her this is the worst birthday ever. She isn't accepting the maturity she thinks comes with the number. 
I made her feel a little better today, I took her to the Coach outlet and let her pick out a new purse.
I'll get her a Over The Hill cake.

My friends threw me a surprise party for my 30th. I have some pretty epic friends.

I really like my birthdays alone. It feels nice to know someone remembers of course but other than that I am not one to celebrate much. It might have been just time of the year in NC is just "meh" and ugly and I didn't feel like doing anything.

It really doesn't. I've never had many friends so I usually go out with him and spend time with him and his friends so I'm always that "hey look it's a cameo" guy who gets asked 5 billion awkward questions and hear inside jokes that i have no idea are about

I have a twin and we are both so self absorbed we have to go out of our way to remember it's the other ones bday too.
