I think this time perhaps we should go for making the natural spawn safe. maybe even something less than wilderness. Though due to build restrictions at spawn I guess that'll be up to Steel and myself.

I was thinking a central plaza then spokes running out from it in 8 directions to the first, or most prolific, builders' locations. Like a giant spoked wheel, with a road circling the spawn in the center. Light up the circular road around the spawn and the spawn itself then the roads out from there too. You should end up with a pretty safe spawn that way.

Probably as people log on, as keen as we all seem to get playing.
It'll likely start simple then be expanded later. The minimum is a reasonably safe place to land when a creeper nukes you and your bed at the same time.

I figured Sneezy and I could do a road around the spawn with the start of roads off of it and a nether gate into a safe spot. From there people just pick a road and extend it out to where they want to build. The main reason for the kick start being we are the only two that can build around the spawn.
