It's very different for cave spiders. They can swim against a current no problem and they fit in a 1x1x1 space. They see through walls so you can get them to follow currents and stack up in one spot.
So far I have water currents to collect from both and deliver to one spot. Right now it just opens into a room. I think I'll leave it lit for a bit, until I have them stuck somehow. I'll add a crusher mechanism to wound them.

The upside is they should be taking it out of beta and releasing a real release here shortly. Looking forward to a new map and a version that they can't use the "What do you want, it's beta!" excuse on.

I find RC2 good also. Tried creative mode and flying for the first time, which is rad. Learned how to lure animals with wheat, thanks to Sneezy.
This time I'll go farther from spawn but not too far just to keep in the general viscinity of a community like you guys have now with some extra elbow room. Perhaps later I'll have a cottage or camp far away, after sufficient rail is gathered to get there easily.
Are there any priority activities we should consider after a reset?
Sneezy mentioned getting animals penned in so they don't die before we can breed them.
