Here is what Minecraft says when it freezes.
Out of memory!
Minecraft has run out of memory.
This could be caused by a bug in the game or by Java Virtual Machine not being allocated enough memory. If you are playing in a web browser, try downloading the game and playing it offline.
To prevent level corruption, the current game has quit.
Please restart the game.
I was playing minimized at the time and I noticed the .bat command prompt program right before the game froze. It spammed this.
1285: Out of memory

get the latest version of java, my minecraft use to do that until I also go java 64bit version. since then it hasn't done it.

Hopefully the extra memory thing that Steel posted helps. I know Drack already tried reinstalling java.

I was working on my SP map, making a new monster processing thing. (Etho's EMP thing basically) and had a creeper accident, blowing the crap out of about 1.5 hours of circuit building, pistons, glowstone glass etc and releasing lava which of course woke up my 2 wolves and one of them immediately jumped into the lava.

Try getting the latest video driver. Video and sound drivers are pretty common culprits in game crashes too.

I kinda agree. Though the current system is big incentive not to die so you can make another.

I've been getting to level 5 and enchanting iron helmets. Still no respiration spell, though I did get a level 2 (proectile, lol)

I have a question, I have like 10 beds and I made sure I slept in all of them, why does only the first one still show up?
so there you see the two towers for the harbor, a part of the harbor town. rest is hidden by mountains. You also see the sandstone lighthouse with the castle walls, that I am in the process of building.
don't be amazed, it's all mostly hollow
I want to start clearing the island part of the castle to make terraces. But we will see how motivated I am haha.
