But if Blizzard falls, so do the economies of China and the U.S. They'll just get a bail out.

I'm sorry but wtf? seriously. It was never intended to be used as short travel procedures/ Then why in the blue hell did they allow it for SO many years and just now come to this conclusion? It's bullcrap, just like the excuse for the Real ID crap they gave originally before they finally came out with the truth about it being a partnership with facebook.

Blizzard knows this. They can do whatever they want.

It's easier than ever to travel around nowadays. Anyone in a semi-decent guild has now a hearthstone on 15 minutes CD, too. At 85, you have a crapload of portals in SW and ORG that take you all over the world. You get mounts and flying mount earlier than ever.

But I guess some need something to cry about.

Some of you people crack me up.

WoW is one of the easiest MMORPGs to get around in. The short flights are nothing...on rare occasions you even do them. I guess if you're doing archeology, you might be flying a lot. Too bad, it's part of the time sink for effortless boa epics (time != effort).

The one point I do agree with is that with DF and queues, little need of using summoning stones, and all that, it's odd to limit/remove the hub ports. You can also port to/from almost every new zone. WoW is largely designed around speeding up everything, convenience, and removal of tedium. The only reason I can think of for sticking with hub removal is to prevent shortcutting of archeology travel. Just another reason archeology sucks.

There are now more FPs than ever so you can get around ridiculously fast while leveling. Not to mention leveling is so organized and linear now that you don't need to leave zones til you level out of them, so I don't see how anyone could complain about flight in regards to leveling.

Which is why it is so Absurd that they removed the portals. Travel is so stupid easy in this game, what exactly did they add to the experience by removing them? It is a minor irritant.

Ok I get to set on my flying mount or the wind rider to get to org to conduct my business.

The only thing I find annoying about the portal changes (I have a Kirin Tor ring) is because for some idiotic reason I have to go to Dalaran to trade ink.

I understand they want everyone to see the pretty new cities they've built, and that current content can be reached from SW/Org. Makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that in order to use current crafting mats, I have to go back an expansion and visit a ghost town.
