Yeah, its all about the bitchin! No MMO will ever be as a success as WoW was.. not because the games are THAT bad.. the customers these days just suck. A few things in a game dont work as they would like or to their advantage..and its full on rage and tears.

My favorite message boarders..The ones that made WoW their lives for 5+ years.. and now act like they are so above it... LOL. You have an ass shaped like a computer chair.. you have 30 characters that are between level 80 and 85... Reality check..Blizz won a long time ago.

seems like its pretty dumb to attack someone if you don't think you can win. fortunately i have a big ego so i attack everyone i see. but it is nice when fighting 5 people to be able to decide which target to attack first rather than turning your brain off and randomly picking one. i can understand if some people can't handle that kind of depth, though.


anyways i wonder how long it will be until blizzard starts selling special armor/weapon skins in the store for $$. that along with creating a new grind for the "collectors" are no doubt the motivations for this new feature.

Back to the times when you had to learn to know your enemy in PvP. That guy in PvE gears looks like an easy target? Bad luck, he is in full PvP gear with 4000+ resilience... but you will know it next time you meet him.

I have a feeling I'm going to be the only Paladin that isn't wearing Judgement armor come 4.3, I guess I'm gonna be the only person that actually looks 85. No one else likes the T11/T12 sets?

Almost all DK sets except the T9 one (crusader thingy) look kickass. But I have a preference for the T10 (ICC) heroic set, so that's most likely what I'm gonna wear.

Shenron, you are actually arguing against your own point. I think the vast majority will agree that there is FAR more depth in having no visual clues as to what a players spec is than simply knowing what he is wearing. This was one of the things I liked about AC, they completely stood the whole concept of casters wear robes, melee wear plate, etc on its head and we were all better for it. I don't think you would have lasted more than a few minutes in that game, the first time a dude in robes ran up and proceeded to rip you to shreds with melee weapons while you could barely scratch him might have had you uninstalling in a flash. I learned to remember players names in that game as well as pay attention to the environment for clues to what skills the player had (reading the words he spoke to cast a spell so I knew what schools of magic they had). Talk about depth! In your version of the game, anyone wearing a white robe (Matty Robe ftw) could only have been a certain class/build. I see no depth or advanced tactics in that at all, simply rote memorization.

Anything to keep people either paying longer or paying more (read: nickel-and-diming you to death) is probably a safe bet.
