You will now have a choice every 15 levels to make. The rest of the stuff you can do will be granted to you via leveling.

Basically, you spec tank and hit the appropriate tank buttons and tank. No more customization, just a flat skill tree given to you and designed by the Devs.

More of "ou WILL play our way or not at all". More stupid people will enjoy the game, more gamers will not.

At first I thought that too, but being able to spec into whatever you want and not have to follow a tree sounds good.

I, on the other hand, prefer a command-line system 'cause i'm so hardcore
/north /north *You encounter an [Avatar of the god Set]!*
/cast sheild *sheild spell unavailable*
/csat shield *csat: unknown command*
*[Avatar of Set] beheads [Peasant]*

Ugg...I really hate to be negative but damn...

They borked talents up and now they are basically removing all talents except core talent abilities and you get them every 10 levels. Did I read that right?

And removing ranged weapons from all classes and melee weapons from ranged classes. What retard thought this needed to be fixed? What is wrong with the current system in place?

And I hate to say this but the opening section is very negative. When you start comparing your new expac to your old one cause it sucked and you know it, well, it doesn't look good imho.

All of this sounds grand, but how much of it really makes it into the game in the way they described now???

WoW no longer has developers, just demolishers.

Monk- freaking AWESOME! Too late....Taht class alone for all that I've wanted one since vanilla will not redeem the the abomination they are turning this game into....are they just retarded or what? It's like they can't figure out how to cater one side or the other. Lets dumb it down and add fluff!! Wait, let's make the content attainable by only leet people! Wait, we should add some of those silly things that are jokes and people will think they are cool!! Wait, let's make scaling difficulty dungeons!

/sigh

I dunno. I'm going to wait until more info comes out or the 5.0 patch hits (which is when I'll probably resub to see it) before I make any decisions. I'm not too happy with even MORE dumbing down of the game though, and the whole psuedo-Pokemon bit had me rolling my eyes.

That said, there are parts that I AM happy about though. Like faction grinding going out the window, or atleast that's what it sounds like. And the dungeon challenges started to have me salivating. And then there was the heroic Scholo, which made my pants tighten. Scholo has always been my favorite instance. Was my favorite when it was a raid too, probably because it was my first raid. LOVE that place.

There are good sides and bad sides. I don't think it's wise to really make a judgement call until the expansion hits though. I will say that if they screw this one up too, then that's it. The B-Team will have hit their stride and there will be no slowing them down from that point.

I just fail to see how any of this can be a positive for wow.

4.0 scarred me for life, and any talk of changing things like this just make me suffer from PTSD.

If I was Dreamworks, I'd sue the ever-frickin piss out of Blizzard for shamelessly stealing every single idea straight from Kung Fu Panda, good and bad. I mean, seriously, "Bouncy" so you take 50% less damage? What do you wanna bet some of the new cooking foods are going to be...NOODLES?? Or ALMOND COOKIES??

Sure, I like Kung Fu Panda, but really...you can overdo it.

Problem is, Blizzard created Pandaren years before Dreamworks released Kung-Fu Panda... so maybe Blizzard should sue Dreamworks?

SWTOR: 50 Jedi Shadow (Tank), 50 Sith Marauder (Annihilation).
LOTRO: Lifetime account, playing very casually.
WoW: Both accounts canceled for now.
GW2: Future Warrior.

This. If I remember right Pandaren were introduced in the Frozen Throne expansion of Warcraft III, which came out around 2004, when they introduced the character Chen Stormstout who helped Rexxar. Chen wasn't even the only pandaren in the game. Then you have Kung-fu Panda, which came out in what, 2008? 2009?

Seriously, the people getting all twisted about pandaren and Kung-fu Panda need to get a grip. WTB Pandaren Express chinese food delivery ordered IN GAME!
