This. Luckily, they aren't screwing you over if you buy the annual pass and also want the collector's edition.

well i signed up for the annual pass.

it only makes sense to me. ANY time you have on your account counts towards it.. since i was doing the 3 month account it had 2 months of game left towards the year. meaning i am paying fo 10 months. now i upgraded the billing to 6 months to get it for 12.99 a month. now D3 will probably be $60 and i'd be buying that anyways which is almost 5 months of game time towards it.. so i figure i'm really only paying for like 6 months of wow time. now also figure how much they have been charging for ingame mounts? $25 for the ones they've released so far.


so the way i figure it

diablo 3 = $60
mount = $25
i already have 2 months of wow towards my year paid for.

so 12x12.99 = 155.88, i am paying for 10 months so 129.90 - 85 = 44.90

essentially i'm paying $45 for a year of wow.

i can't commit to a year of WoW every month. i usually subscribe then cancel for a couple months, over and over. its not the type of game that grabs me full-time...just a craving i have to indulge every once in awhile.

I never played Diablo or Diablo II, so getting D3 is not a perk for me by any means.


I'm not a mount achievement whore either, but having a new mount isn't a bad thing either.


I think I'm gonna wait a little while, read up a little more on this deal, see if wife and I are still interested enough to want to pay for a year.

The only thing that interests me in the package is the beta access, and I can't bring myself to "pay" for beta access.

And if they changed a bunch of shit and added in a bunch of shit you'd be crying about that too. IE you are going to cry regardless because that's all you are capable of.
