For Horde we are on Shattered Hands, but I rarely play there cept when I feel like swooping around and dropping on people, shooting them, and flying away like a prick.


For alliance we have Daggerspire and Moonrunner.


We use Moonrunner mainly as our raiding in safety area and just bg it up or screw around in Wintergrasp.


I have been under a tremendous amount of medication from my surgery (ankle double broke after being already broken, and had to be re set twice). So I mainly sit /followed on someone and have them farm Shatt for my skeleton mount hehe.


Thanks to medication, I have maxed out my fishing and cooking... without it, I don't think I coulda progressed so far. It's amazing what flashes on your screen when your pumped up more then Michael Jackson & Heath Ledger while listening to cheezy 80s techno and watching Harry Potter DVD's for some odd reason and eating spaghetti that your sister somehow burned to a crisp yet still taste mildly stimulating.

After falling out of WoW, and dumping LOTRO and WAR about a month after beta completed, I don't have high hopes for Aion. I keep trying to tell my kid it's not DAoC, those days are over.


My draw to DAoC was the small realm population, and the fact that, when I signed on there was always someone glad to see me on, asking me to MT a run or join their gank group or something. The point of playing an RPG is to enjoy it enough that you're not just another face in the crowd. The huge single serve systems of EQ2 and such guarenteed that I'd never have the time or drive to be "that guy" that I was in Dark Age. The guy that Cyce used as his excuse for wanting the zerker nerf. You just couldn't get as personal with another game as you could with dark age.


I don't feel that in Aion, I don't feel it being personal, or friendly, or home. Its a pretty game, full of colors and cut scenes and spiffy armor and weapons. I just don't see the game where I could generate enough respect from an opponent that they wouldn't 10 man gank me if they caught me standing solo unless I attacked first, or at least not without saluting me first and after.


You know what they say, you can't go home again.

Are they going to wipe characters after beta? If so, I may just hold until release.

I'm definitely enjoying it so far, but it's not hard to impress me after the WAR failure...
