It's funny. When I met my hubby Thunderknuckles we liked TOTALLY DIFFERENT music. I was into punk and he was into his metal music and was (still is) this bad arse guitar player and to agree on anything was like pulling teeth.

In my circles back then, punk and metal tended to overlap quite a bit. Some folks leaned more in one direction than the other and some hated one or other style, but there was still quite a bit of agreement - mostly we all like loud, crazy music.
