Heh, I have about half the 80's metal compilations that have been released.

I love watching the "100 Best Songs of the 80's on VH1" Remember when VH1 used to be "old people music"? I guess it still is... just means I'm getting old.

Tool DOES suck, every dang song they have sounds the same. Don't get me wrong, Sober is a great song, it's just that every other song they make sounds like it.

Geoff Tate has a great voice; of course, I love unique voices: Stevie Nicks, Chris Cornell, Robert Plant, Brian Johnson, Eddie Vedder, Dave Mustaine, etc.

A few months back my best friend sent me a mix cd with all 80s covers. Pretty much it's current bands covering 80s tunes. It's pretty cool except she snuck Jordan Knight on it to spite me.

EWWW Jordan Knight!!! hahahahaah

Most people think the decade that they started getting laid in has the best music

I grew up in the 50's and 60's and loved the 70's. Most of my

sounds collection is 60's and 70's with a sprinkling from the

other decades. I don't remember the 80's very much in an Osborne

"woh Red Ferarri" kinda way. Did I miss anything special?

I've been listening to a lot of Pixies and New Order lately - mostly the former. pixies are probably my fave band of all time.
