I loved the 80's! Well, what I remember of it.
I still listen to some music from back then, mostly hair bands but also pop.

80's hair bands? No thanks.
Probably the worst time period ever for rock music. Poison, Ratt, and 99% of those other clowns had zero musical talent.

I don't agree with that at all. You might not like the music, but there were a lot of good musicians who came out of that time period. Using your example, Warren DeMartini of Ratt is an excellent guitar.
Sure, there were plenty of players who weren't any good but that's no different than any other time period including the past ten years or so.

There was very little about the 80's that were good. I have a CD with 20 songs on it that I liked.
One Thing Leads to Another was one of my favs.

The 80's also had some great Punk Rock  I never got into the metal phase. I was always into "new wave", "mod" and "punk" back then . Creepers anyone?
