They are looking for a Television star. This is not just a cooking competition.
Remember, Adam has cooked 1 dish well. So they know he can cook, he just has to do it under pressure. He has tremendous presentation skills and camera presence. He still worked in his great sense of humor without making a completel joke of himself. Jennifer had been told since week 1 she needs to work on her confidence and camera presence. She failed Every time. Aaron was saved because he has proven he can cook and has had at least one good presentation.
Shane and Kelsey were great together. She's a definite Spinner.  He did seem a bit uneasy about hugging her though when they said they won. lol Unless they really screw the pooch, I can see these 2 being the final 2.

They definitely have the look. But I don't see myself watching their shows (or any of the others for that matter).

Last years winner, Amy had her show on Sunday's at like 11am or something and it just looked HIGHLY boring. I did not want her to win last year  I was rooting for the Blue Collar food chick. I haven't even seen a commerical for "Gourmet Next Door" in several months now that I think about it.

I remember seeing commercials that The Gormet Next Door was "moving in" but never did see one of her shows.
I don't think her shows have aired yet. At least, according to Foodnetwork there is no episode list.

She prob got cancelled when on one watched 
Didn't the season 1 winners do the show "party line with the hardy boys" or something like that?

I guessed it this week. Shane is a brilliant technical chef. But, as the majority of the panel expressed, his passion does not really manifest itself. If he loves French technique so much, he really needs to go experience it firsthand.
Adam and Aaron nailed the show. Aaron did screw the pooch in the beginning, but did pull it off bigtime. Adam rocked it from step one. Thank goodness he didn't say he always wanted Rachel to pull his meat though! 
I am really rooting for Adam now. He has the personality I feel more than anyone. Lisa is too unstable. Aaron needs to shine in presentation form to get ahead, Kelsey still is lacking real authority, and as Bobby pointed out, she could have shown authority by "telling and showing Rachel" how to cook scrambled eggs her way.

I totally agree, Tazzer. I think Adam has the best personality for a show. If he doesn't win, I'm not sure there's anyone else whose show I would watch.

The Gourmet Next Door (Amy) decided she did not want to be away from her family and quit. I think she did 5 or 6 episodes. She went to live in France. Rori should have won by default that season.
Season 1 was the two gay guys who liked to cater parties. Party Line with the Hearty Boys. I think it is still on every once in a while. They are perpetually perky. I think I liked the second place person better.
Guy would be better if he did not wear those distracting "manpris" all the time. He also looks like he overdoes it on the cologne.
