I'm very happy Nipa got the boot. She wasn't willing to learn or try anything outside her "Indian Bubble". Throwing away that fish was RUDE!

Nipa deserved to go. But honestly WHAT do the producers really think is going to come out of a kitchen with FISH AND FREAKING MARSHMALLOW FLUFF???!! Or caramel and sole....that is just GROSS.


I get the distinct impression the selection committee is trying to emulate the foodie snottiness of the Top Chef judges. It falls a bit flat for me. And although I LOVE Michael Symon, that Cleveland accent is ultra annoying.


At this point, Lisa and her Pucci shoes annoy me...in fact, they almost all annoy me. Funny thing though...I found Guy terribly annoying during the competition, but appropriately annoying in his shows..so who knows.

you cook in one outfit, you can serve or show the guests stuff in another.

I can't believe Nipa threw out an entire fish. I can't believe she couldn't even touch it. How do you call yourself a cook when you are afraid of fish? I really thought she had a chance because her culinary POV was so different than everyone else's, but she totally blew it.


WTF was up with the heinous ingredients, too? That was ridiculous.


I like Lisa, but the chick needs some friggen' common sense. At this point, Kelsey might well be there at the end. She's very comfortable in front of the camera.

I agree that Nipa cut her own throat with her attitude toward fish. She made no attempt to really flay it. Just took enough off to have a minnow sized piece.


Between stomping off out of the judging a couple of weeks ago and her throwing away that fish... it was time for her to get the boot.


I didn't like Lisa at first but I think she has taken the judges comments to heart and is learning through the process.

Well, so far the 2 successful seasons have had 1 guy and 1 gal win. Lisa is growing on me, but I think she is too close to last season's winner. I was impressed with her this week, but yeah, she needs to be appropriate in the kitchen.


Go Kelsey! Definitely had the advantage winning the presentation with the first pick. And then to find out that the "Iron Chef" style dish was chosen for the menu at Red Lobster! Wow!


Nipa definitely had to go this week. Way to little culinary knowledge. She did have the most unique point of view, but she has a long way to go before she can be considered an expert. Also, does she have any real variety to her culinary cooking besides curries? Yes, I know curry is a huge part of Indian cuisine, but there are a lot of other styles and ingredients.


I think it really is anyone's show still.

Shane is amazing and if he gets comfortable in front of the camera, he could win it.

Aaron started out great but has since choked. I also wonder though if he isn't a single version of "Down Home with the Neelys"

Adam needs to can the physical schtick comedy. He has real talent, but as he said, needs to stop being a Joke.

Jennifer had got to find her confidence.

Kelsey needs to maintain the even-keel she found this week.

Lisa needs to "get real".

I thought Adam should've went last night. Jennifer does lack confidence but she CAN cook. He just doesn't make the right decisions food wise. Like that bone-in chicken last night. Though Aaron should've spoken up, but still. I don't think he'll make it past another couple of weeks.


Kelsey and Shane sure look cute together I'm glad they won. Shane is starting to really come through on the camera.
