It is a great device and I only have two complaints.
1. The page turn buttons suck. They aren't completely awful but they are clearly inferior to the Nook 1 buttons. If you don't hit the sweet spot in the middle of the button they are mooshy and awkward and even hitting the sweet spot on them isn't an ideal press. I've actually started turning pages by touching the screen with my stylus instead of using those ass buttons.
2. I can't be the only one who refuses to touch the screen they read on. B&N should offer a stylus in the Nook accessories. I resent having to order a stylus separately from Amazon when B&N should have anticipated that design flaw.
I also don't love the new interface but I'm sure I will get used to it; nobody likes change.
My concern over the size of the device ended up not bothering me all that much though if I had the choice I would choose to have the words at Nook 1 height.
In the end it was worth the money for the increased battery life, not that I believe it will last as long as they claim.

My seething wrath and urge for blood is fueled by searing hate.
I'm X X X bitch, triple X rated.
