I don't like the dimensions or the all touch screen but I might buy one just for the 2 month battery life.

i don't think the screen is any different that the first nook screen is. it's just shorter because it doesn't have an extra touch screen panel.

My complaint isn't that the screen is smaller, it is that the entire thing is boxier. I hold my Nook very low on the device and with that thing I would basically be gripping it in a way that with either inconvenience my neck or my arms.
If the entire screen is a touchscreen like the Sony Daily Edition and they preserve the E-ink look it will be quite the piece of technology at that price. The Sony reader is still like $250.

no i knew that i was speaking more to the dimensions of the thing. i'll definitely buy an upgrade if it still looks awesome screen-wise. but since it's a touch screen i'm not gonna preorder buy it. i'll wait until the stores have it and go look at the ones they offer up to play with.
