Yeah, I'll definitely try it out at work first. Although, that price point is almost impulse buying price. And I kind of like my 3 G now on my nook.
<edit> honestly, I'll buy it unless there is just something I hate about the design, which is possible.

With the 100+ books I have bought from amazon since the kindle 1, I am pretty much stuck with them now. 
Looks like a decent device though.

i have a nook and i frequently buy books from amazon to use on my nook. i have to strip the drm occasionally and i have to change the format but that's really easy if it's not a topaz book. if it's topaz i just return it because i can't read that isht on my nook. (amazon generally has better prices but the nook, imo, is much better than the kindle.)

from what i've been told, there is a program called calibre out there that can convert E-reader file formats from one format to any other format you want. haven't tried it yet.

calibre only works on things w/o drm. you need like.. python and a specific script for it to remove the drm from amazon files. which actually once you install python you never need to touch it so that's nice. i have a file that will do it all for me automatically once i tell it which book to do. it's just an enormous pain when the book is topaz and it's not worth it.
