Will killing him bring her back?

Will the pleasure you feel at having the government kill him justify the 100 other people the government kills under the same guidelines that were convicted using jail house "informants" and lying prosecutors fabricating evidence and obstructing justice?

Wanting the government to have the power to murder it's citizens is the opposite of being for a smaller less powerful government.

Deserving the death penalty and actually implementing it in a truly just manner are two very different things.

Putting them in jail solves the problem.

Also jail can be very inexpensive, it just needs to be implemented to be more self sustainng.

Putting them in jail makes the problem worse. They are a danger to others, even in jail.

We need to revamp the process so that it doesn't cost $10 million and take 20 years to execute someone.

The most dangerous people in jail are the ones that are there for crimes which are not considered death penalty offenses. Gang bangers, thugs, bully rapist types.

Edit: i meant they should harvest and grow their own food. And do auto repair for the local city, etc.. Stuff like that.

When there is irrefutable physical evidence that slam-dunks who did what, yes, let's have a death penalty.

For cases where the conviction is derived only from circumstantial evidence and little if any conclusive physical evidence? Life in prison is good 'nuff.

i would agree with this as well...if i thought it was possible to legislate and the gov't wouldn't try to find loopholes in it whenever it served their purpose

since i don't believe it is...i am anti death penalty

life in prison serves the same purpose...to remove the person from the population "forever"......the death penalty seems like an emotionally tainted revenge killing to me...and i don't support that

Most people believed that it was a "slam dunk" that Iraq had WMD.

Believing anything the government tells you is so absolutely true that you will kill people based upon it....is fracking stupid.
