A babysitter and trusted neighbor has confessed that he bludgeoned a 9-year-old Indiana girl to death with a brick then dismembered her, hiding her head, hands and feet at his home and dumping the rest of her remains nearby, police said Tuesday.
Allen County sheriff's investigators said in an affidavit that 39-year-old Michael Plumadore admits he killed Aliahna Lemmon on Thursday.
According to the affidavit, Plumadore told police that after beating Aliahna to death, he stuffed her body into trash bags and hid her in the freezer at his home in a rundown trailer park in Fort Wayne. He said he later chopped up her body and stuffed her remains into freezer bags.
Shame on you for wanting to keep trash like this alive.

It's retarded to use a single example to justify why the death penalty should be kept around. I'm pro death penalty and even I wouldn't do that. Does this guy deserve the death penalty? Yes, without a doubt. But that really wasn't the question you were asking, so meh.

Will killing him bring her back?
Will the pleasure you feel at having the government kill him justify the 100 other people the government kills under the same guidelines that were convicted using jail house "informants" and lying prosecutors fabricating evidence and obstructing justice?
Wanting the government to have the power to murder it's citizens is the opposite of being for a smaller less powerful government.

A person who can chop up a 9 year-old girl is not even human, let alone a citizen.
When there is irrefutable physical evidence that slam-dunks who did what, yes, let's have a death penalty.
For cases where the conviction is derived only from circumstantial evidence and little if any conclusive physical evidence? Life in prison is good 'nuff.

Deserving the death penalty and actually implementing it in a truly just manner are two very different things.
I can't write it up now but I have a laundry list of long thought out reasons why I am against the death penalty with a few narrow exceptions (which aren't met here).

Thanks Nancy Grace.
I did note when I read the original story that this trailer park as 24 trailers........
and 15 registered sex offenders. This guy wasn't one of them.
I'd rather read stories like the one where a man shot two people then stole and SUV with a two year old in the back seat.
The two year old was found later, in the car and unharmed.

I am for a vigorously used and quickly implemented death penalty.
Some things are bad enough that you should forfeit your life for doing. This is one of them.
That said, never let a male babysit your kids. EVER.
