He is a nut bag and a prick.
He throws his religious convictions out there as proof of his goodness and armor against all attacks for his crazed stupidity. His care and concern for the lives of children (and other Americans) falls short when actual health care is required however.
He thinks every woman should be forced to carry a non-viable fetus (as the one the book was written about was determined to be very early in the pregnancy) to delivery of that dead body, or the death of the mother .....whichever comes first. He doesn't believe that those forced fetus factories should be guaranteed medical coverage while they are seeing which happens first, they die or the pregnancy spontaneously aborts.
In fact, if a baby somehow manages to be born alive, screw it from then on as well. No medical coverage for them now. They are too old to give a fuck about now that their umbilical cords have dropped off.
God damn insanity. Any person who claims to be a christian but turns their back on insuring that medical aid is available to everyone.....is the worst kind of hypocrite. A totally delusional one.
I sort of wish their was a god so I could watch that bastard smack idiots like him into hell for their willfully evil misinterpretation of what goodness actually is, and for daring to claim to speak in the name of a benevolent deity, that if it really existed, would go rambo on their stupid asses and smite the world into a much better place in a fit of rage which would culminate in all of them bleeding to death out of their god kicked assholes.
And yeah, I've had this discussion with my very religious family a few times. Never seems to go over well when I get into the god kicking them in the ass part.
