When he brought his 20 week old dead baby home and made his kids hold it and kiss it kinda turned me off Santorum forever. That's just creepy. Plus he comes off as an arrogant douche.
So, no. I'd just not vote at all if he got the nod.
That is just f'kin morose.. religious people are f'kin crazy.

I hold it against him because he filmed it and invited the press to interview his 6 year old daughter about it a day later.

Santorum's Catholic, not evangelical. So he has to work EXTRA hard to keep that religious whacko street cred.

Don't forget that it was his assertion that liberals were to blame for the Catholic Priest scandal that led to Savage googlebombing him.
Totally agree with AA - he is overcompensating and working extra hard at the religious whacko angle.

So having just heard of this, I decided to look up some of the details. The child was born at 20 weeks, not 20 weeks old. He was premature and died at childbirth. They brought the child's body home so that the other children would know that their sibling was a real person. There were no cameras or news crews interviewing the children about it a day later as near as I can tell (the story came out when his wife published a book about it). I have no idea where you picked that up Ptilk, but you might want to get a penicillin shot before spreading it any further.
I'm not a pro-lifer. Far from it. I'm also about as far from a fan of a racist homophobe like Santorum as you can possibly imagine. But I have had people close to me lose their children late into their pregnancy and it's a difficult thing to deal with. I wouldn't have dealt with it the same way, but I don't see anything wrong with people doing so themselves. It's their loss to deal with, not mine.
There are plenty of things far worse than this to think he'd make a bad President.

I think a lot of people will vote for him on the basis of his awesome last name.

I think another four years of Obama will only speed up an already impossible-to-fix situation with our economy.
With that said, I would still not vote for Santorum under any condition. He's as big government as the rest, and completely nutso-whacko on social issues which I am not at all interested in.
