Its defending the right of a family to legally mourn their dead any way they choose without public/government intrusion.
No one suggested anyone 'intrude'. All we're saying is 'they are weird'.
People have the right to be as weird as they want, and other people have the right to say 'Wow - they're weird!'.

A medically induced miscarriage that you know is going to result in the death of the fetus is an abortion.
And it's the type of choice he is looking to take away from other families - which is the real point here.

Did they medically induce? I thought they were informed of the abnormality and decided to put it in God's hands, mother and/or child be damned...

The language I am using is what Santorum has used to describe the event.

He does not believe in exceptions for the mother's life. He's also for criminal charges.
And from further reading, it does appear the labor was medically induced. And they knew it was going to kill the baby.

Is he only against the health exemption for partial birth or all abortions?

Just looked it up.
He is on record stating that he is for exceptions.
Exception for rape & incest ok, even though they take a life. (Sep 2006)
Tali do you have a credible link for his no exceptions for the woman's health?

Delivering a living child is not an abortion, induced or otherwise. Saying otherwise is playing a level of semantics that normally only Paul would delve into.

You aren't going to consider any of the links I'm finding credible. But I trust Jezebel.
I know he signed a pledge that makes an exception for the life of the mother, but that doesn't mean he feels that way.
He is definitely against exemptions for rape\incest victims, and wants to jail any doctor that performs an abortion. If he's jailing doctors for abortion, his feelings on exemptions are pretty moot.
