If your power went out in the middle of the night... |
how many light sources could you find in the pitch black?
My power just went out a few minutes ago and the first flashlight I got to was dead. I got to another one less than 30 seconds after the power went out. I could easily have gotten to two more if I'd needed to.
Very windy here tonight.
Coyotes are going crazy.

I would use my cell phone...or my wife's cell phone, hell...one of my kids cell phones..

The flashlight app is the first thing I install on any phone, but a lot come with it already installed now. If I'm sleeping than it's next to me charging. It uses the camera flash for light and it's really bright.
During prolonged outages, I always break out the votive candles.
