I was just stating some facts from my side breh. I really can't keep in my pants for just one girl. I've tried and failed more times than I can count. I really don't believe I'll ever be able to just sleep with one person only for a long/extended period of time.
That's cool dude, i wasn't really talking about you then. Yeah I don't think it's right but I try not to judge, and I know theres always going to be cheaters and cheating in the world.
My ire was directed at those who try to rationalize their behavior by saying everyone does it, or it's only natural.
That's pretty insulting because it makes decent people out to be the abnormal ones or simply calls us liars.

Well, not everyone does it, nor should they. I know some people are perfectly happy being with just one person and if if they can reach that level then all the power to them. Like I said in my first post, I really really don't think I'll ever find "the one" or anything similar. If I do, and she makes me change my ways than I'll be grateful but until then I feel like even trying to be monogamous is like lying to myself.. I can't do it. When I try I feel like I'm unhappy with the girl and I do things to indirectly push her away.

The 'biological imperative' argument is total horsecrap btw. It's ego masquerading as intellect. Imo, people don't really believe they are powerless slaves to their base biological impulses, they just think their seed is so special it must be spread around. The pseudo-babble about evolutionary biology is a cop-out.
We are attracted to many people in our lifetime - that's undeniable. Whether or not you act on it is always completely within your control. The reason many people don't act out has more to do with a balanced sense of reality then anything else. Being in a long term stable monogamous relationship has more benefits then is possible to list in one thread. Despite appeals to sentiment, most of the time, the decision to not act on the 'biological imperative' is a simple cost\benefit analysis. Catting around starts to have serious consequences and most of the time it's simply not worth it.

I would do most anything
I don't cheat on people though, it's not in my blood. I am not capable of doing it I would say in fact. I won't/can't (more won't) get hard for someone who I have no respect for (a small list) so sex doesn't play as huge of a factor in my life (unless it is a porno)
