I'm totally alone. This one girl customer when talking to me about dating and stuff said maybe I liked being alone

I'd go find a better looking one and move on. I've done it several times. Not because I've made a mistake, but that's just the way the dominoes fell.

I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

I would say it depends on the other persons capacity to forgive and forget.

Tenkly's bravado always makes me laugh.

Remember when he melted down over driving a Corolla? Good times.

Sometimes I wonder what happened in his childhood that made emphasizing how awesome he is so important to his sense of security.

But to address the question, probably. I'm a sucker for love, and I have a hard time quitting on someone especially if I feel I messed up.

I made a lot of big mistakes with my wife in the year leading up to our wedding, and as a result the first few years of our marriage were rough.

But we worked through it, and I think we're better off in a lot of ways. Once you've really messed up and seen the consequences you never want to do it again, and once you've forgiven something that hurts a lot the little things people fight over don't seem so bad.
