Humanism is a spiritual concept and a race of beings who evolved to the point of non-violence should be something you would accept and not mock. It just shows you are only mouthing the humanistic words while secretly firing up the ovens.

Space is a really big place, kind of doubtful we'll ever find another race of intelligent beings. It's mind boggling just trying to come up with a way to make it to alpha proxima and that's right next to us in galactic terms.
Probably why we haven't been conquered by an alien race, they can't get here, either.
