Those are both awesome changes overall. Although I agree in the context of mass RVR I'm not sure how well they will work out.

Well I for one love to play dedicated healers, so for me it's a bad change. Depending on how it works out that alone could be a game breaker. That's my personal opinion. Having to parry/dodge whatever myself is another. I can see where it would be fun, but not in this genre. Again a game breaker.
Looks like I will probably pass, which is a shame because GW2 does have some promising "RvR" ideas.

Okay just for you I promise not to pass until 6 months after release. By then it's usually decided if an MMO has any long term appeal.
