you can be self sufficient at any tier...it just takes whole lot longer to get upgrades.

If you dont move or shoot anything for entire time you get 0 xp.

Seriously, I was really trying, but damn sometimes I'm nuked before I even see what is shooting at me.
You need to play an SPG even if you just burn through the first couple tiers.Knowing what they can and can not hit will help you alot.Before playing one a little I was getting really frustrated because I felt like they could hit me from anywhere.
BTW:I finally am comfortable in my tank(KV-3). If the cost of ammo for my gun wasn't so high everything would be great.

If you weren't a sucktastic shooter it wouldn't matter  Shoot less or hit more, and it's not an issue

I like to get all the upgrades and then just progress to the next tank myself pretty casually, I don't think tier 10 is going to have anything much more incredibly magical then any of the other tanks

i like to tweak out my tier 1 tanks and keep em for when i wanna own noobs.
for now, my highest is IV since the server wipe.
