Did you hear about the Republican Senator who whined about gas prices and blamed Obama for the high cost of gas...since it now costs $70 to fill up his 15MPG Hummer H3?

I dont know where the media found that ultra high gas price but they did. California is a huge place. They said that gas near the major highways and interstates was always usually more expensive too

Premium can really get up there and some areas of Los Angeles still have full service.

part of the problem with the amount of gas available is all throughout the coutnry there are different standards for how the fuel must be refined. If the federal government standardized things for the entire nation the supply would go way, way up. It wont for whatever reason
Refineries are the bottleneck.
