Leveling your first character to 50 back in 2002 was a pure grinding hellfest. Anyone who remembers it differently is wearing bright rose colored glasses. I spent some weekends eight hours a day grinding werewolves in Malmohus and was level 49.5 when Darkness Falls was released. At least it was fun to get my last half a level, but before that, grinding Raumarik and Malmohus was a boring nightmare.
PvP on the other hand...I will never have a more fun gaming experience than that, and that makes me very sad. I spent months at level 35 just solo assassinating people in the Hib frontier. I had to force myself to stop and get back to leveling.
I remember grinding Fins in hib, slow and boring as hell. Then shifting servers and realized people outside of hib hadn't figured out focus pulling yet. Talk about serious grinding!

It would be great if it happened, maybe it can take 10-15% percent (of market share) for a while.
(though Im sceptical)
I mean the current totally stale MMO market because of WoW is pretty uninspiring...

I keep saying I'm going to try it but I still haven't gotten around to it. I hate to buy the box and then be stuck with it after playing a month a la Rift.

but really, who buys a Bioware RPG for the PvP? are you stupid?

I'm pretty sure the only thing that could kill WoW would be WoW2 or a comet hitting the earth.
