On average, it costs something like 16% more to get health insurance that doesn't include contraceptive coverage. Requiring that it be covered saves money.
People should be mad that their employers force them to pay more for health insurance because they don't believe in something. 
This. Preventative health care is pretty much always cheaper than reactive health care. Not to mention the fact that birth control pills and the like are used for many other reasons besides simply stopping pregnancies.

Society isn't.
However, as I discovered today, birth control is not all that Ms. Fluke believes private health insurance must cover. She also, apparently, believes that it is discrimination deserving of legal action if "gender reassignment" surgeries are not covered by employer provided health insurance. She makes these views clear in an article she co-edited with Karen Hu in the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.
She is a life long extreme liberal activist. Rush should not be, well, like Rush.
If this gal gets what she wants then 'insured' society will pay more for their insurance.
I'm guessing that the goal is to have government cover this as well...
...obviously.

Is not most co-pay for this type of stuff like $10 to $20 a month?
In this case she is talking about birth control pills - covered, with no co-pay, for working women.
$10 to $20 is like 1.5 to 3 packs of Marlboro a month.

She stated that she knew what their rules and medical benefits were before she went there but decided to go anyway.
She has an agenda.

Neither are going to get what they want.

This is not about the cost of contraceptives.
That is what Rush wants you to talk about.
This is about a private jesuit school having the right to set the rules for those attending.
If you believe a person should trump a private school then that is your stance.
I think you cannot tell the school what to believe or do anymore then you can tell a person.
She made her choice by attending that school.
She knew what their policy was.
