With all the chemicals we use in production I'm not going to tell my employees not to smoke, we just have a designated area for smoking because when they drop their butts I start kicking them.

Isn't there some way you can find out? I mean I'm sure they don't let you puff away on your e-cigg at your desk but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't mind if you do it outside.

I suppose I could email HR about it and find out. Hell, I could just go to my car.
