Where public transportation makes sense it doesn't really need public funding. It can be run for profit.
All the government needs to do is clear away the red tape and assist with eminent domain and such.

The worst part is they dont want to go on public transportation themself because they are too important and they need private transportation for whatever reason. They want the poor people, the rabble, to use it.
They really are hypocritical elitists.

The former mayor of seattle tried to get everyone to ride a bike but he rode his fatass in a SUV for security reasons. He is typical. Get the rabble on mass transit out of their cars not the liberal elite
