It's not just ground up beef. It's been chemically seperated and treated.

When people buy ground beef they think they're getting beef that's been ground. Not beef that's been chemically seperated and treated.

Maybe you really are this dense.

So you support companies pulling ground beef that's affordable and safe off of the shelves. Not to mention schools that are already hurting for money because it wasn't labeled correctly? You do realize that ammonia doesn't actually stay in the food correct?

I actually eat very little processed foods and the only things from the freezer section you will find in my house are frozen spinach and peas....and the occasional quart of Ben and Jerry's.

I just happen to like potted meat on crackers from time to time (with yellow mustard and diced onions).

Got a HUUUUGE garden going in this year. Still have a ton of canned stuff from last years garden...which was a lot smaller. Planning on putting in 200 tomato plants this year and already have almost an acre of turnips and beets in the ground.

An acre of turnips and beets? Do you sell them? My whole property is an acre lol..so that would be a ton of beets.

There is TONS of processing that happens to meat. I think your "what people expect" line of reasoning is pretty dum. most people don't have a clue what happens between cow and supermarket. but all the sudden them not knowing this thing is a super duper breach of soemthing. trustiness maybe,

The beef trim is no worse than hot dogs imo. The biggest thing for me though is it's safe and affordable. Exactly what the american consumer demands.

It's ok. Ground beef prices are going to rise, along with food borne illness occurrences. NO PINK SLIME!@@!!

No. I support relabeling it so people can make informed decisions. I thought I made that clear in the other 10 posts I've made in this thread.

You seem pretty dumb.

Pink slime is not ground beef. It's something else. If pink slime is great for America people will still buy their ground beef even if the maker is honest about it and admits its 25% pink slime.

The truth shouldnt hurt anyone. if the cost of griund beef rises then thats not the worst thing.

the mcdonalds quality beef is quite liw in nutritional balue. vegetable patties would be better.
