A kid that bought some skittles got killed on the way home - his crime being black in public.
That's all he had done. Maybe he was also criminally wearing a hoodie.
Anyone that is going completely anti- the victim here is in need of some mental help and is morally bankrupt.
I can see 'give Zimmerman his day in court' but I can't see 'the kid should've listened'. In hindsight we know for a fact the kid had done nothing illegal and was legally allowed to be where he was. We also know that Zimmermans behavior was harrasment and his behavior which was very erroneous led to the death of an innocent person.
We have the right to fight back if someone comes at us - end of story. Zimmerman came at him, Martin has the right to stand up for himself. Police can't just pull up to anyone and harrass them without due cause and same goes for private citizens (due cause is not 'he was in my neighborhood'
. A private citizen can't just go up to anybody (especially a minor) and attempt a citizens arrest - that's kidnapping.
Essentially, Zimmerman was behaving like a gangster on his turf.
