I agree there needs to be moderation. I just mean, the exact level we have here is perfect. We can cuss, we can say what we want, we just can't spam porn or some shit. I dig this amount.

step 1) you're gonna need a council of sages
Checks and balances, one representative from each guild who can intelligently and unbiasedly make decisions on bannings.
step 2) you'll have to form rules that if you break, you will get banned.. a CoC,
the council will deal with the gray areas.. for example, if it's a rule you can't say the name Heathor but someone says Heather, the council would come to a conclusion on that..
step 3) you'll have to make a fucking sticky thread so I can post my favorite hetero porn links, because bookmarking shit seems so Aol 4.0 to me

I don't see there being a problem with threads with porn in it, it should just be tagged NSFW so people know and can avoid it.

Also, preferable if people aren't using racial slurs in titles and shit.

Still, banning someone for posting a picture of a vag is ridiculous and I would absolutely never ban for cursing or anything ridiculous like that.

I think we just need to make sticky threads for the things people want to post to keep them out of normal threads, like a porn thread and a spam thread.

I think once a board is chosen, people should vote on some of the moderation (such as do we edit posts with porn that are posted outside the porn thread etc.), and all threads that are NSFW and not tagged so will be edited by mods and/or removed.

The only reason I'd be skeptical about going to UD's forums is most of you guys have a terrible track record for raging out and/or being elitist, would be hard to trust you wouldn't be extremely biased and heavy handed with moderation. By that same token, I think there may be one or two people from UD who could be moderators on a neutral board, provided they don't give Rayne access to their accounts because you know he would rageban half the forums. Jus' sayin'.

Hagrin is a pretty decent option, I've never heard of any problem with him, would probably need to have him volunteer his forums directly though.

Another thing to consider, if we do vote on new forums, I know that I would personally be willing to buy another domain to re-direct to the forums.

For example, make a VNDT sub forum on whoever decides to host it and then register a new domain to point there (like that DTBoards guy did).
