There are different variations of this virus going around, the hijacked registry files notated on that list are never 100%. I'd say about 30-45% of the time this guide will work though.

When this guy fails to remove it you can come to me.
trolololol.. except im actually a profesionnal programmer and youre some scrub nobody has ever heard of.
Your suggestions thus far have been laughable.. thinking name dropping "rootkit" is impressive makes my pp tingle.
As a programmer myself, I can attest to the fact that being a professional programmer has absolutely shit all to do with removing viruses.
I dont know what kind of programming you do, but knowing how shit accesses memory and having actual knowledge of how kernels and a registry works helps plenty.
Or are you one of those kids that does a bit of php and css and thinks that makes you a programmer.
Regardless of your pp envy and constant need to be tugging on my nuts sliy.. I will help him and it wont cost him shit. not like this other noname 12' regged faggot.
I mean I have no doubt you know how to remove the virus, but saying you are a "programmer" does not mean you do. If you had specified what area of programming it would be more useful lol. Because the majority of programmers I know stay as far away from low level stuff as they can.
Edit: and this may be one of the first times I have addressed you in months lol.

yeah because professional programmers are professional virus removers. LOL
How about dropping the fact that the main virus .exe file is located in the app data file of their windows root folder? It is normally named a 3-5 letter.exe.
Just throwing out "professional programmer" doesn't mean you know how to remove it.
rofl.
oolol app data "file" eh. Listen bro im sure your grandma is super impressed that you know how to google and run ad-aware like a fucking champ...but leave it to someone who knows what theyre doing. u mad he wont pay u now?
Ill be home in maybe an hour brosef.

The only suggestion I gave was that I would remove the virus for him? Why are pbs so dumb.

The file is located in that directory, that is correct.
Just judging by how this kid is acting he is going to brick your computer, you might as well reformat already.
