Mordred is the best server ever made, ever.
Even with TWO people on, Mordred is better than YWAIN. Ywain sucks unless you like zerging with friendz, or pretending like you are some elite 8v8 group.
Here is what happens when 8v8 goes to mord:
1) They roll and level up
2) Someone else rolls a better setup and destroys them over and over
3) they quit mordred because they don't like sucking at DAOC
4) They go back to Ywain where they can bot and get lucky in their favorite spots jumping people (like the DOCKS)
Soloers go onto mord and do exactly what some guy said earlier, lol,. /lvl then run into a heavy combat zone, and guess what, DIES lol.
In mordred people actually need to win trust of others and friendship, just like in IRL! Because if they don't, they can actually be smacked in the face, unlike on blue servers. Blue servers have so many fake friendships, but people don't care... AS LONG AS THEY THINK THEY OWN.
Roll mordred though, because now its super easy to get a sick charactor, and the ruleset is 100x better than Ywain.
AND, there are 10x the zones just from expansions now,. it is so easy to hide from people. When you do /who XXX, the zone does not show.
Another fallacy in this post, is "LOOK at mord population since it was started!"
How about this,. look at how all other servers have combined into ONE. I wonder how long ago DAOC would have 100% died if no mergers of servers took place. Probably YEARS before mordred, which still even has a few players. Full freedom like on mordred is radical, and is WIN.
