Wrong and wrong ... both of your statements are wrong.


1) As I'm sure most people who took Greek and Roman history realize, the Magna carta wasn't the beginning of the laws we are used to today. The Greeks and Romans influenced a great deal of what our laws and our political system are today. Democracy took hold in Athens. The Romans took a good deal of the Greek's knowledge and carried it over into their own systems. The Romans took England and most of Europe, which influenced the laws in Europe for centuries and the democracy founded in Athens found it's way into most societies today. The Magna Carta was a document which put down many of these ideas.


2) Mythic cannot discriminate based on race, religion, sex or national status, so therefore, they cannot do whatever they want as you stated falsely.

Umm, no. English law (and American law) derived from Germanic laws, not Roman laws. England (Britannnia) wasn't that Romanized. French, Spanish and Italian laws derived from Roman law. So your understanding of history is flawed. Greek democracy bears little resemblance to modern democracy.


They aren't discriminating. They have the sole right to determine the rules of their game. They aren't discriminating against language, they are discriminating against vulgarity. If you think vulgarity constitutes it's own language, you are really dumber than I thought. You violated them. You pay.

I like when people talk about things when they have no clue what they are saying. I work in a professional field where I have to know what I'm doing and saying to people. I can not make up things like the previous two posters who are clueless to their own civil rights. The reason they say Dr. Martin Luther King was such a great man is he brought about a change of your civil rights that no one can take away from you. You have lost whatever slight bit of credibility you have left, if you had any left at all.

To this I say, the EULA does not trump federal law, state law or any local laws. If Mythic said you would have to be white to play the game, they would be violating your civil rights (read below).

If you didn't have Greek and Roman history, you should. You will realize a great deal about our political system is from Romans. If Britian wasn't so influenced by Romans why do they have a House of Commons(Plebs) and house of Lords(Senators). If you don't realize most of what the world does today was begun in Greece (mostly Athens and Sparta) and Rome, then I cannot help you. Philosophy was started in Greece too, as was democracy and free thinking. We have a house of representatives (plebs) and the Senate, lol. We still call it the Senate, and wait, I think you are missing the link here. The United States broke free from what nation? Oh yeah, that would be Britian. So we have a Senate, we broke away from Britian and the Romans had a Senate, LOL.

They do not have the sole right to determine the rules of their game that break federal, state or local laws. I'm sorry, but read below and learn something you should have already known.

To the above poster who claimed a business can make up the rules, you are wrong. Face it. The only exception to this rule is a private club, which can discriminate as long as it is not open to the general public. This game is open to the general public.


If you know the law, you know federal law trumps all law. For example, you know when you see that line on a restaurant menu that says, "We have the right to not serve anyone for any reason," is illegal. You don't have to be a legal expert to know this because if you read the above section, you know a restaurant's rules will not trump federal law.


I get tired of explaining common sense things to people like this. I really do. I can't believe people don't even know their own civil rights, and are happy to come on a public chat board and let the world know they are clueless too.


Stick to making up stories that can't be discredited so easily.

dude. You are clueless about history. I've easily read over 100 books and 50 treatises on roman and greek history and another 200 books on middle ages to renaissance history. Go study English Legal and Political history then get back to me. YOu don't know what you are prattling on about. The Ancient Greeks had no concept of limited power, no concept of property rights, no concept of individual rights, no idea about separation of Church and State, no Habeus Corpus, no trial by jury, no Bill of RIghts or anything approximating it, no concept of separation of powers, only allowed land owners the vote, allowed tyrants to rule. Need I go on, Dr. History? Read about the Peloponnesian Wars to get a sense of how Democratic ancient Greece was under Pericles just for starters. Thucydides wrote the history if you want to look it up.
