How many people play DAOC? How many people post on these boards? A handful? Maybe 10% tops?
I have to lean to the side that it's something Mythic did. For you to be so sure that two competing satellite companies collaborated at the exact same time to some how limit connectivity to a game they have allowed for all these years and they just happened to both do it at the exact same time the game was down for a patch... Seems kind of silly honestly.
I know for a fact that Wildblue does not use the same satellites as Husges Net.
And besides, we all know Mythics track record on patches.

i never said for sure either way.. i'm just saying its possible,
too many people jump on the blame game, focus on only one thing and forget all the other variables involved...
i'm only pointing out that it COULD be the providers .. and it still could be...
there are many things that could be causing it.. and everyone only wants to blame mythic and not even consider any of the other things it can be...
but reguardless if it was a change mythic made, or the sats made... there is a known solution, dont use sat...
and yes, a very small ammount of the daoc population posts on VN... wich is why i was giving it a generous estimate of 20 players effected with only 5 are voicing a problem...
because honestly.. how many people do you realy thing use sat internet? and play daoc?? there realy cant be that many sat internet isnt all that common and its even less common for gamers, and not all gamers play MMOs and most MMO players play other MMOs...
so the % of daoc population that runs on sat is gunna be extremely small.
