Do a search on RIFT  lanes of Telaria or www.riftgame.com/en/. Going into closed beta December 3rd.Faction vs faction fighting...(2 factions).PVE...crafting....BIG budget mmo.If you haven't checked it out..you should.

It is supposed to be Server vs Server vs Server so each server is a "faction"
also, the servers are supposed to switch so you are constantly fighting different servers. It is supposed to be a 3 way tug of war though.
Granted the game is only in alpha and probably wont be in closed beta to early/mid next year. So take that with a grain of salt but the is the current open world PvP concept thus far

Sounds like something most DAoC vets have been through... game XXX will be awesome and it will be
just like DAoC! Alas.. they never are...
If you don't enjoy the game anymore, then you should indeed cancel.. just don't expect to find daoc2 out there anytime soon.

Two factions, no thanks. As I said there's nothing else out there and other than perhaps GW2 I don't see anything in the near future. There's been so many DAOC killers come and gone, none of them ever measure up unfortunately.

I certainly respect your opinion..but I'm not ready to say I'm not interested before the game is even launched.One of the aspects to the game I found interesting is the semi sandbox nature of the game.Unlike DAOC ..you can build multiple templates for each character and choose which ever the situation warrants.
