Standing in the CK today..my earth wizard died 4x in the space of 10 minutes.HOW...BD pets were set on aggro and literally killed any player in the ck .You didn't have to attack anything..just be alive as the ck was filled..again and again with BD pets.Rezzers were slaughtered as they tried to rezz people killed repeatedly by the aggroed pets.And still nothing is done.My subscription expires early December.I will decide in the next week if I want to put up with this( Hopefully I get a beta invite I have been pushing for and can be done with the shattered remains of a once great game.I suggest people considering returning know..the bugs and exploits and poor class balancing that drove you away before...they are still there.Expect the same ole same ole.

We had several more episodes of the same BD activity after the episode I described above. My wife who also plays has said she will step away from the game for several days ..she is so upset.

well, i saw this post the other day but didn't post... soo for the OP and those that don't know how to deal with pets going through doors in the bg's


twrs, when a pet comes in the twr kite to the oil lvl door, pop out, the pets shouldn't follow.... if needed jump from the oil lvl to the front door and then pop inside...(these rules apply as long as you have not damaged them)


ck's, if you are defending in a ck the same rules apply... kite to a side door and pop out, the pets will be stuck at that door and will eventually lose agro and go to the main door and stand there.

as long as you go back in the ck through a different door, the pets won't agro you.


if you're defending the ck from the roof, don't do it alone, meaning bd pets will kill you long before u can reach a door.

if you're on the roof and you see bd pets attacking another player, help him... kill the commander... a good dps class can kill it easy before it can be healed..


if attacking a ck.... if u see a bd commander ... kill it... assist the other players near you.. an unbuffed bd pet troop is pretty weak... if u keep killing the bd pets as you see them..

you'll win the battle...


don't forget you only need to kill the ram driver to stall a ck take... this can be done by using the slit windows next to the front door... there are plenty of other doors there and pets of any kind will have a hard time killing you.

I may be a little out of the loop, but I thought those slit windows disappeared with the new keep designs when NF and the new BG's came out?

-The door maneuver has NEVER( I have tried it MANY times) worked for me when I used the door off the lords room...or the side doors close to the inner ck door.
-mages have only one quick cast and then they cannot cast.They take just a few hits from 3 attackers and they are dead.... seconds).Healers that heal the attacked..then draw aggro for the BD pets and die as well.

yes..there are slits on the sides of the ck door..when the ck levels up after being claimed.

So there was nobody in the CK that was able to disease, CC, root, etc these pets? You had 'rezzers' .. where was everybody else? Or, was it just a few 'solos' with their bots parked in there?

Did it ever occur to any of you to send somebody out there to kill that BD? Dead BD == No Pets. If his pets are running around inside the inner CK killing, then that BD can't depend on them to help him fast enough to save him if he is outside the walls and attacked.

There are plenty of tools in this game to deal with most pets - most people just want to whine about it instead of play their way into a solution.

bd is dead outside a quickcast root he might toss at you

First, I note that the defenders of the OP BD pets ... instantly descend to the level of name calling and insult.I will not descend to their level....and give any worth to their comments with a response.I will speak ......with my subscription, it's cancellation.i will speak with extended efforts on other forums to alert potential players to not try the game.
