The RA and Realm point overhaul is like 8 years too late and stealthers got a major bump, but nice changes overall.

Stealthers really did not need a bump, but that is to be expected, Mythic will be Mythic.

some changes are nice, especially the assassin change. But reading the one for the Shadowblade... I don't know, somehow it seems very overpowered to me. 25% melee lifetap for an entire 30 seconds? The NS and Inf ones are also good.

I think these might require a bit of fine tuning though.

Others are still just as useless as before, or 90% as useless as before. I think some should be completely revamped. Give Enchanters their stupid pet thing at level 50, like you did with stealthers, and then give them a proper RR 5 that other casters would like to have. Also the Valkyrie RR 5 is just as useless as before I think. Who the hell at RR 5 these days needs something to reduce power and endurance usage? Absolutely useless, especially when there's a handful of classes who's RR 5 abilities can be the deciding factor in winning fights.

And the savage RR 5, I think 10 percent is way too low.

Anyways those are just off the top of my head. Overall the patch has some pretty good points, but I don't think it addresses lots of the major issues. Also, having 5 and 9 tiers of RR abilities is nice, but I think it would be an absolutely perfect time to tweak some of the numbers on these, while you already in the code and making adjustments. I mean who really needs 9 levels of Lifter anyways? Ok, well there are other examples too, but tweaking of some numbers would be nice.

Here's what I don't get,

Mythic gave an enhanced version of the eld rr5 to rangers and scouts.

here is the eld rr5:
10 second unbreakable burst of extreme speed.

Here is the proposed scout rr5:

Shield Trip: This ability will now deal 300 damage in addition to rooting its target. Additionally, this ability will now grant the Scout a 60% unbreakable speed increase for 15 seconds when used.

Eld isn't even mentioned on the list of RR5's being updated neither. I'm hoping that mythic just forgot to type them in, which is possible since they put mentalist 2 times.

Archers are disarmed for the duration of the spell, so it can't really be compared to charge or eld rr5.

Bards really need their RR5 improved. What has been done with the graphical updates is not an improvement at all but merely the maintaince to the ability that should have occured at every step of the game's evolution merely to maintain the status quo. At the very least the ability needs to come in multiple spells that let the bard choose the race if not the gender and class of the transformation. Also add lurikeen to the racial choices.


If you really wanted to make it fun... shorten the duration of the spell and let it affect the bard's whole group.


Just out of curiosity... anyone know how these graphical changes are functioning with classical models turned on? There was already a disparity between the two that made updages somewhat useless in the past. Has that changed?

Thanks for that Grim, but you will also notice I did specify a country of origin in the text of my post for 'realise', and two links, one of which shows its a British spelling and the other has an audio playing of the proper U.S. pronunciation.

Even in the 'realise' definition in the first link, the meaning of the word has 4 more applicable uses for the word as spelled before the spelling that was used in this forum topic.


Nice edit though.

I checked on pendragon, vehement Renewel still does not affect the caster. epic fail....... would be a useful ra if it did.

Difference is the 60% unbreakable speed is MUCH slower than the "extreme speed" from the eld rr5.

Did archers really need more ways to run away from fights? Its to the point where you already have to win 3 fights against them before they die, assuming they come back before their timers are back up.


Seems like they would benefit more from a different approach than adding redundancy to their already liberally applied escape abilities.
