Yep Nightshades zapping is a pain. They usually appear above you somewhere so it takes time to get to them and those spells hurt! Or they just zap leech.

I've played with Stabju
His whole Template/RA setup was built around casting/nuking. Hence he was using a staff for most part.
Get him in Melee and this story would be slightly different.

edit: people all ready covered what i was gonna say
on another note, i wish they'd change the acuity stat of thanes to be strength and i'll be a happy camper with this casting damage

And he'll probably still do more damage than a caster with a staff

Logged on my 50 ns and found delve is 125, not 73 or w/e anyone is saying.
Also he killed my minstrel friend today through an entire di2 and my heals...well it was him and 2-3 other nightshades casting vs my heretic heals which suck lol.

had some rr2 ns try and nuke me the other day...
its cool, after i stunned it, i nuked it back for 695+312 smite...
pretty happy with that damage.
