I still don't understand the logic in making the NS magic damage dex based. Considering a caster shade can easily achieve 400 dex. Well over the amount of acuity a caster will have with acuity buffs. This, in part, makes up for the 125 delve. Essentially NS's are baseline nuking for as much or more than a caster. The benefits the casters have is that they can sometimes debuff their own damage or run with a debuffer and achieve higher nukes. Making it dex based helped boost NS magic for a melee NS, but made it unbalanced for say a castershade.
And I feel there is another breaking point past 400 dex for 3.0 spells. When my sorc was around 410 dex I noticed a difference compared to 380ish dex.
If NS's are out there nuking people for 350+ w/o crits against 36% cold resist and excelling in melee there exists a problem. That should not be possible. And the recent changes to making the NS magic damage dex based and increasing the delve led to this. I think one or the other should have been done, but not both.
