Be happy you have vanish at all. Most classes dont... Also get a higher level of vanish.

Vanish is another ability in a long line of abilities that have made DAoC less interesting. If a player wants to wait on a Vanish 3 timer, well... their chance of dying diminishes greatly.

Chances of killing anyone also diminishes pretty quickly, what is that... 15 points spent on a get out of jail free card? Or do you mean Vanish 5? In which case 30 points are spent on a run away 15 minute timer. I'd rather die then waste points like that.

It is impossible to expect 1v1 on Ywain.


Even in seemingly quiet areas renta-zerg will always come along and add. The playstyle now is so much centered on keep taking that it's impossible to expect not to be added on. If you are a stealther then grouping is the norm, not the exception. People take the easy way out, and grouping is the easy way out.


There should be room in the game for all playstyles, there used to be certainly back on EU clusters, not these days on US clusters.


Personally I prefer to let a 1v1 fight go Of course, fight on a bridge outside a keep under siege then I don't see any reason not to add.


While I am the subject of solo kills, I do wish Mythic would add 1 to your total if you kill someone who isn't worth full realm points because of the stupid timer in the game. I don't mind them being worth less realm points, I understand the reasoning behind it, but please add 1 to the solo kill count.

I have been playing my nightshade 'dirtybum' on my own but I do not call myself a 'soloer' anymore and havn't done for a good few years, ever since I left the EU servers. But the last recent days running on my own with my nightshade I have got 190k in a few days rvr. Yes, I have been added, zerged but over the years I have adapted to the game and all I see now if its Red its Dead.


All I say is that if you want to 'solo' you have to do it a different way. Work for it to gain a reputation so people see that 1. you wont add on fights 2. respect 1 on 1 fights.


It also depends what time of day you play and where you fight. Some days you dont find anything, so try different zones and be PATIENT because it will happen. Thats what I have been finding out the last few days.


My solo stats are as follows on the infil...which I think are quite OK...

Dirty, I'm going to come out and say those are some of the best stats I've seen for an assassin in recent memory. That's legit solo stats.

Soloing is still perfectly viable on Ywain, especially on assassins. I don't play too much, but probably average 10-15k an hour on all three of my assassins... and get plenty of 1v1s in the process. If you truly want 1v1s, you can't just go to some random place where zergs hang out. There's a lot of areas where you can get decent fights, but generally fighting 2+ is the norm. Part of soloing is getting ganked, if you can't handle that part of it, you can't handle soloing.

I've never dueled, never done Laby, and don't camp my own bridges, and my stats are still just fine. Plenty of other assassins/soloers can say the same thing. Mythic shouldn't cater to a minority playstyle, and certainly shouldn't punish people for playing with friends and killing the enemy, even if they outnumber the enemy.

Why, have you not even read what we have put... its pointless and no need to adjust it when its possible to run solo. As you are so called a 'soloer' you should be able to kill multiples. I have killed Duo's/Trio's and 4 players on my own before.

He's not a soloer. He is known for being possibly one of the worst assassins playing this game who QQs too much rofl.
