If my realm mate loses, I will kill the enemy after my realm mate dies. If it is a 1 versus 2+, I will kill as many of the bad guys as I can. I don't care if others add, as long as I survive.

I normally let them finish the fight, and let the winner live and /clap. I have no use for 200 realm points, and making more enemies that will add on me.

If it's 2v1, I will generally first see how the fight is going and if my realm mate's getting owned, I'll add in and kill the softer target and see how the 1v1 goes (maybe even heal the solo). If there are stealthers, ganking a solo... I'm adding and I don't care who knows. My favourite deal was being called a huge adder in Laby when I played there; Alb sneaks or a smallman trying to kill like a duo or a solo mid, me helping and them QQing. I've always allowed 1v1s as much as possible, although it is hard as a bolt caster, you lock onto someone and start casting just to see them get hit.

And the last thing, I really don't care if I die/survive rofl. I have nothing to obtain on my highest RR toon, she'll never be rr12 and I got all the titles I really want.

It isn't much of a game at all anymore... used to be more interesting when adding didn't take place so often.

Some of us still think it's a great game. Some of us still believe in realm pride where it isn't about the individual, it's about the realm.

When was it ever the norm to expect your fights to not be added on?

Two major factors in many fights these days: luck and numbers. How much fun is that. Realm pride existed and adding wasn't as big of deal, since there were fewer opportunities to add and it meant less when someone did add. The gameplay was simply more stimulating and interesting. Gotta be blind, imo, to not see that. Sometimes, less is more.

i've always found it funny when people talk about realm pride, and saying how adding on to a fight is bad...

realm pride = support your realm, kill the bad guys no matter what...

not adding = selfish and thinking of ones self, and not thinking of the realm... because by not adding your realm mate might die, and the enemy may win...

i've always viewed it as helping the enemy realm when you pass one and dont engage them in combat.
