As for the distribution of the heal proc.. seems that Midgard has the best class chosen for it.. people with a buffbot will always at least have either a cleric, a druid or a shaman.. so that means you'll get quite a lot more people in midgard using the heal proc... ofcourse on the other hand.. the 'solo' oriented peeps usually don't leave a borderkeep without the full set of capped buffs, so more than likely all alb/hib/mid stealthers and visi solo's will have the buff anyway.
Clerics have Trial By Fire.

chanter with root would be scary if warden was still BG ML speced, but if going the 1 of each naturalist route, i dont think it will change anything other than solo/smallman play.
and we all know the game isnt based around solo play because wardens with greaters pre slam nerf would have made me just poop my pants in rage/fear

The patch notes were an interesting experience for me. I skipped the Highlights section completely and went right for the guts, which means I pretty much started at the Bard nerf which irritated me. But, as I scrolled, I noticed lots of little changes. I found the tutorial zone notes, which were expected but still nice. And then I got to the User Interface section, and my jaw dropped. This is the kind of love that was so long overdue, but most certainly welcomed now. When I got my wife addicted last year, it was interesting because we had just been playing a couple of newer MMOs, so the interface was beyond dated. This won't fix all of the UI issues, but it sounds like it is going to be an enormous improvement. +1

as a small note that doesn't matter much at all, i'd like to add that I don't think the 'main menu' key should be the same key that disables chat and clears your target.
I use this key in sequence when i need target nearest enemy/friend, I don't check first to see if I have a target usually. Now if I don't have a target its going to bring up the main menu.

I'm hoping that can be re-bound in the keyboard configuration to get around that kind of thing.

Sorry but this patch sucks that´s all.
Balance? no .. why ... every real get the same things ...
Ench get a root wohoooo ... better then fix the lame Pet ... GB pet can block what can the Ench pet oh yes attack enemys great deal... no block stupid rr5 ra .. ?

Bainshee next nerv .. fall of dam .. at a 1000 range bold what the fuck.
And a Eld wheeeeeee two debuffs.. sorry.. but the Eld has two and the new one are week ... but is better then incrase the Bold damage ...
wizards 2 Bolds 1600 - 2000 Dam, Eld 2 Bolds ~1000 - 1200, and no damage debuffs in the overpowered single dds

They just moved where the debuffs went...they already had base debuffs.

There is a pretty obviously exclusion of Albion in all of this, and I hope that while Mythic is keen on handing out the Friar Heal proc buff to everyone, that they consider giving other similar abilities to Albion to compensate and keep things fair. (Valk DD proc-buff comes to mind.  Heretic, Friar, or Paladin will take that one gladly I presume!)
Alb is beyond fine, and has been the top realm in group combat for a long time...

Except it's in mending for the shaman, specs are in aug, and they're a 1.0x spec point class...

I've sort of had the same experience. There's all these little finesses in there that I'd have been congratulating them for getting to but I'm so astounded that the bard thing even went into a patch note that I haven't been able to really appreciate it.
